ITL Rome, Italy 6 Castel Sant' Angelo 1
One of the most interesting places in Rome, The Castel Sant' Angelo = Castle of the Holy Angel.
The bridge across the Tiber River lined with statues is wonderful.
This
is the Mausoleum of Hadrian. This is the gift of a lifetime to see
this. I've wanted to hike Hadrian's Wall in North England all my life.
One day...
Built between 134 to 139ad, this fortress is an amazing structure.
Legends hold that the Archangel Michael appeared atop the mausoleum in 590ad.
Pictures don't capture how magnificent this fortress is.
After a lifetime of odyssey some things can't be put into words.
Throughout
this lifetime,... this brief time between the eternities has been a
gift of journey,... an odyssey of the roads less traveled on the way to
Emmaus.
You never drink twice from the same stream.
