I could stay here for years studying the history of all these sculptures and artwork.
This is beyond phenomenal!
Every room you go into is even better than the last.
The Sistine Chapel.
They won't let you take pictures in The Sistine Chapel... the light flashes would affect the artwork over time.
One of my great lines remembered is from "Good Will Hunting" "but I bet you can't tell me what it smells like in The Sistine Chapel".
Well.... I can tell you what it smells like in The Sistine Chapel; it smells like cheap perfume. And there are no seats. Just some benches on the sideds and they're all full from peple walking a half day and their feet are tired so they sit. And no seats come available.
And you have to crane your neck up and it gets tired... standing. You can only stand about 10 to 15 minutes 'til your tired,... overwhelmed.... but still tired,... and ready to move on.
I would have loved to have taken some pictures to remember...
You never drink twice from the same stream.
