It's Thanksgiving. T-bird says let's go to early church for a recital of her piano teacher.
Ok... I can do that.
Yes,... there is a piano recital ... warm up. Excelent piano duet. Some really good music.
Then... it morphs into the morning church service.
This is the two tree church on a stick that last time I was here wanted to go outside and throw up.
It's the same deal. Horrible.
I couldn't understand the message from the overriding band noise. ... and it was noise. Bad music by bad musicians. Their heart was in the right place, but it was still bad.
The speaker... ?minister?... read scripture 3 different times to make a point. Translation= He couldn't make a cognitive point so he had to keep reading the scripture over and over to get something to register ... for some applause. absolutely horrible.
And then had to invoke an analogy using "Peanuts" Charlie Brown.
It's Thanksgiving. I am Thankful that I never have to go to this church again. and hear this.
You never drink twice from the same stream.
