The fascination and love of flight goes way back. Grampa Wood taught me to fly his 182. -- See Planes,... # 1 .
the first, and many following flights on commercial air travel , I dressed. I wore a suit jacket and tie. For a teenager to witness the golden age of flight in the '60s ; priceless. Then to take flight lessons and get a FAA private pilots license... it was a priority. The gift of enthusiam of flight; Thank you Grampa Wood for teaching me.

And for my buddies, rotary wing guys, James in HML 367, Frank, Leadsledd, Walt... that flew slicks -- hueys in Viet Nam- Lee flying combat cargo off of the USS Tripoli into Somalia... A few pics.
