Last day in Italy 2, driving through Tuscany.
All day in Arezzo.
Parked near the train station and hiked up into Arezzo, A magnificent medieval ancient Italian city.
Through the quaint streets first stop was the Basilica Of Francisco. And I’m already blown away at
this beautiful cathedral.

Hiked up more past the Santa Maria della Pieve.
Columns of carved marble are fantastic. Cathedral inside is amazing.
Hiked up to the Piazza Grande; from left: Santa Maria della Pieve, the old Tribunal Palace and the Lay Fraternity.
Went through the museum below and climbed up the Bell Tower with the 500 year old clock.
Was a good place to enjoy a samich overlooking the Piazza Grande square . I recommend it highly.
Red brick Barrel tile roofs overlooking the city of Arezzo, the view allows a view of the several bell towers. I can
see the beautiful bell towers of The Communal Palace in Arezzo, The Santa Maria della Pieve, and the Cathedral
of Arezzo, that is the next stop.

Hiking up to the top of the hill of Arezzo there is the Fortress, which was closed.
and had a Park below lined with Italian pine trees that had a beautiful marble statue.
The Cathedral of Arezzo is beyond description.
It takes your breath away to see this.
Walk back out of Arezzo down to the train station.
