Put to Sea Blue Puttees 1

on board MV Blue Puttees on the North Sea Port aux Basques, Newfoundland to North Sydney, Nova Scotia - Cape Breton

Alright!!! Loading onto the 28,460 ton MV "Blue Puttees" ... getting ready to get underway.

The teamster hostlers are busy finishing staging / loading 18 wheeler vans in the cargo hold decks below.

Now you can see what Port aux Basques really looks like.

Look closely at pix # 4 and 5... in the harbor. ... ?Is that a Whale? ?or a large Seal and pup? or a rock?

An hour ago was walking downtown & got a close up view and feel ... now from topside of the Blue Puttees helps put the size of Port aux Basque, the docks, the ship, the harbor... all into visual context.

Out past Lighthouse point you can see MV Highlander approaching.... positioning for us / Blue Puttees to leave port .
