Ireland; fog, rain/ drizzle, wind, cold. Ceiling about 200', visibility 1/4 mile and down to a couple hundred yards in places.
In Ireland, the more remote a location... the roads got narrow-er. By the time we got to Mizen Head it was a one lane road at best, and that was built for horse and wagon 100 years ago.

Absolutely beautiful !
Marconi set up an early radio station here it was so strategic. It was the first, or last sight of Europe to the North sea SLOC Shipping Lanes of Communication. Dad was one of the Iceland Marines in WWII. Iceland and Mizen Head were vital forward listening posts/ monitoring posts to track the German submarine "Wolfpack" preying on the USA ships to Europe.
