Drove road r480 from Ballyvaughan to Pounabrone, an unusually large dolmen or portal tomb/ alter on "The Burren

Wiki: The Burren (IrishBoireann, meaning "great rock") is a region of environmental interest primarily located in northwestern County ClareIreland, dominated by glaciated karst (or sometimes glaciokarst[1]) landscape. It measures, depending on the definition, between 250 square kilometres (97 sq mi) and 560 square kilometres (220 sq mi).

This tomb/ alter was one of the most magnificent thing seen in a lifetime journey.

This altar tomb dates back to circa 4,200 BC.

The archaeologists have found some 30+ different people remains and artifacts. This sacred site.... is very historical.

This is in "The Burren" region... some 100+ sq miles of glacio karsk limestone topography.

I stand in awe to walk around this Alter/ Tomb today.  And say a prayer of all the Irish that were here. Eire is history,... Eire is life.  Erin go Bragh!!!!!
