We're driving hard. RT= Road Trip. Closing in on destination Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada.
Late afternoon. It's been a grey, overcast, cold, drizzle for the last 2 hours.
Coming into the Canadian Rockies... steep mountains. Visibility is limited... only a mile or so.
Drive past a lake on the left... come to a motel resort... painted PINK. Looks busy and full.
A few miles up we enter into YOHO National Park.
Stop at the visitors center.
on across the bridge is the town of Field, BC.
Out in the parking lot take a moment and view.... steep Canadian Rockies mountains. Steep. Powerful view to do a 360 sweep here.
Cold,... chill... snow flurries, sleet. Wind 20+mph. ?Did I mention this is August? ... and there's snowflakes!
?Is this a Road Trip or what? It just gets better.
After a pit stop head out to Lake Louise.
